Ms. Miller is an attorney who has been practicing since 1997 in the areas of divorce, adoption, probate litigation, elder law, guardianship and conservatorship matters. Leslie works with her clients in facing life’s changes and challenges. She assist individuals in navigating those situations amicably and efficiently, striving for an equitable resolution.
Leslie is very involved in legal organizations including being President of the Judge Hugh Means American Inn of Court. She is a member of the Kansas Bar Association, the Kansas Women Attorneys Association, the Douglas County Bar Association, and received the Topeka Outstanding Young Lawyer Award in 2001.
Leslie has two children. When not involved in their activities, Leslie is active in the community and teaches Sunday school. She is the current vice chair of Community Children’s Center (Lawrence/Douglas Co. Head Start). Previously she served on the board of tiny-k Early Intervention and the Douglas Co. Historical Society. She was a member of the Leadership Lawrence Class of 2007.
